Just remembering how amazing this place is and found some wicked Late bars Anyway what are the best nights in the Toon these days ???

Many nights n places: promise/shindig/disco noir/etc @ foundation resistance/syndicate/vibration/influence/etc @ the fiddler *plugs* syndicate/x-rated/nice @ stage door vuzz @ egypt cottage/bar mono twisted logic @ liquid habit @ clear loads o' stuff @ stereo loads o' stuff @ world headquarters etc etc Look in the what's on forum.
In 6 years the north east has changed alot! I remember when i first started properly 'going out' back when i was 18 and the quayside had akenside and thats about it... And the pubs shut at 11. Now the whole place is heaving and late bars seem to be taking over. Lots of great nights if you know where to find em. The promise board has tons of people running small nights for like minded individuals - Probably the best board to knock about on in the north east if you want to know whats going on. Welcome to the board
avoid the quayside nowadays - it used to be the place to be but it's now just the evil brother of the bigg market - anywhere around central station going towards the bottom of the market and thru to swan house roundabout are where the best bars are at the moment... club wise - there's still not much selection but with more and more bars now getting 1am licences - it's getting a bit more varied...
