Nearly shat my panties I'm now in Cambodia & on our forst full day here...we were at a russian market when we heard gun shots going off close by...locals looked scared so we moved in the opposite direction to where the shots came from & then a security bloke ran past us with his gun pointing & he was ready to shoot! turns out there was a pissed local with a gun...he shot it up in the air & when the police asked to to put it down he shot 1 of them in the leg so the shot him in the arm & arrested him!
why springs to mind there James? :think: We've visited the royal palace & also the killing fields 15 km south west of phnom Phen (sp) & also the S21 prison from the Khmer Rouge (sp) era Some very sad stories to be told...got some pictures of the cells & people who died there...our guide lost his father in 1976 & his mother had to burn anything that linked him to them in case they came for the rest of the family!
My mate went over last year... she said some american kids paid the 50 quid then took the cow to the nearest farm.
