    New look Freedom Tower

You've probably all read about it and/or posted about it somewhere on here but it doesnt harm to mention it again :)

The Freedom Tower is going to fill the space of the vacant Twin Towers site and will be full constructed by 2008 and full in capacity by 2010. Apparently. Looks a bit too modern for my liking but it twists around slightly as it rises 1,776 feet into the air. It features Wind turbines that will account for 20 percent of the towers energy source (according to an old CNN report but since then plans have been modified therefore the designs of turbines might have been scrapped)

Interesting but i wouldn't be too keen on moving in on the top floor despite the hardened structure and improved fire exits.

i think they've gone a little 'understated' with it to be honest, could have been much more adventurous - i'd have no problems with working on the top floor

hahaha. I like the way it sybolises the twin towers though. Cos of the way it twists up it looks like the towers are still there at certain angles. I think that may be one of the reasons it is 'understated'. The thought of elevator shafts that high scares me a little bit.

i was more on about the fact i couldn't be arsed to walk UP all them stairs to work - rather than an evacuation plan!
