Two things in the news made me SICK today....

Anti - sematism - Vandels break intot a jewish grave yard and cuase £150,000 of damage and spray swasticas everywhere, this is after the same thing happened in Manchester a few weeks back

    AND

The goverment banning protestors from 1km of parliment... WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR FREE SPEECH, this has made me fume an di may habe to tgo and protest about not being able to protest

We have it really great in this country remember - free speech and all

.... sarcasm aside - Hitler did the exact same thing back in the 30's, dissallowing certain sections of society on the basis of 'protectionism' which eventually turned into 'protective custody'.

For a government to ban protests because of the 'potential threat', to me is an absolute contravention of human rights.

i agree with you on the anti semitism.

however i agree that the public should be not allowed within a certain distance of important members of parliament.

its too dangerous for them these days.

you dont think terrorists have had ideas about blending in with the general public so they can carry out attacks.

have a look at suicide bombings in iraq

al admit its a good way to see democracy in action - blair and howard going at it, but its too much of a risk these days.

that jonnty for example, was filled with dyed flour, could have been ricin.

what blair is doing to limit our freedom is getting outta hand.
