I was flicking through the channels after work and stumbled on a interesting study on Richard and Judy. :blush: They had 3 student types testing 3 of the most recent hang over cures. All 3 being available in the US and LA to be precise.

One of them was herbal, the other was a soluble drink and the third was tablet form like taking a paracetemol before and after your sesh. Anyway the third, called RU21, was a great success and is apparently doing the rounds in LA at the moment. People are out getting hammered all the time and not suffering.

Has anyone tried this yet? I know Batfink posted about a similar thing for comedowns.

Anyone think this is a bad thing and will encourage a country of heavy drinkers to drink more?

those comedown kits are awful...they make you feel worse than just suffering a bit!!!

If you only drink really expensive spirits, they have all the ethers and congeners removed after they've been distilled. They're what give you the hangover, so without them you wake up feeling fine. Obviously not a very good budget option, but the most effective anyway.

i drink smirnoff when i go out (does nowt for the bank balance) & i still get hangovers...not as bad as when i've drank shit loads of gut rot but they're still minging!!

Probably why my old boy can get obliterated get up in the morning have a shave and be totally fine.

i know smirnoff's more expensive than some, but it's really just mass-produced, cheap shite. It has to be the really premium liquers, stuff like ketel one (vodka), buffalo trace (bourbon), or methusaelum (rum).

i would definately try these out, sometimes i lose whole sundays to my bed and T4.

That coloured lass doesn't help the hangovers much. She is too annoying for Sundays.

yeah definately could do with replacing her with a more aesthetically & aurally pleasing individual.

You have to take these RU21 pills when you're out as well as before and after. every 2 drinks I think. Could look a bit dodgy!
