    ive been given tickets to go and see them at the uni tonight... anyone else goin? or even know what they're like?

    ive only heard one track of theirs... :down: :up:

    sound like cold play & thats bout as much as i know...heard a couple of songs by them & thought yeah these r ok!! :D

    a lass i work with thinks there class, she says there better than coldplay.
    Ive only heard one tune by them, think there gonna find it hard to get away from the likeness of coldplay

    Just getting a bit of limelight now. Not heard their recent stuff... but they did a song called 'last ever lone gunman' a few years back... its pretty good :up:

    they were ok... their personalities came through above anything else - appeared to be a really genuine band...

    the more upbeat stuff sounded as though it could have been any other indie band- with the exception of the 'light up, light up' song purvey was on about- although the laid back tracks where definatley their best material...

    as for the coldplay comparisons i would have said they where anything but... having said that, ive never seen coldplay live...

    still undecided.....

    i used to like snow patrol, seen em a couple of times, saw them supporting travis in 1999

    they have got a sound a bit like coldplay but u cant compare the two.
    imo coldplay are the fuckin boyos.
    its gonna take a while for another decent band to come out.

    actually theres a band at the ,moment who are pretty good but only heard one of there songs
    there called keane.
    if u like indie give them a try.
    missed them at the uni a few weeks bk;)

    keane are ok but sound very like travis

    we need new bands to be available with a new sounding gene of music...spice it up again...
